2.2% increase in onion exports as the growing areas increase in Morocco

Despite numerous fluctuations, Morocco's onion production has jumped up by 2.2% since 2014. 907,323 tonnes of onion were harvested in 2019, which made the country the 23rd largest producer of onions across the world. The area dedicated to the production of onions and the yields per hectare has been growing in Morocco since the past few years.
