Uganda Cassava price falls due to large surplus of supply

Production of Cassava in Uganda is normally at peak during the dry period of December to February and at small quantities during the short dry spell from June to July. Prices of Cassava fall during these periods due to increased supply and most of the tuber exports are to Asian countries such as China and Korea.
