The Philippines is exporting shrimps to other countries like Japan, United States, Korea, and Europe even during the current Covid-19 pandemic. According to the Department of Agriculture, it will assist and work hard to push agriculture exports by providing technical training to fishermen in cooperation with the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) in the succeeding months as the sector is seen as a major foreign exchange earner with the ability to provide employment to a huge part of the country’s population.
