Turkey's meat, dairy and fish exports decline by 17% due to the Covid19 outbreak

Turkish fish, meat, and dairy product exporters had entered the year with hopes of a 10% increase in their exports however with the Covid19 outbreak, their exports have declined by 17% in the 1st quarter of 2020.

Turkey had exported 2.5 billion USD of fish, meat, and dairy products in 2019. The fish exports took the biggest hit among the product groups. Turkey had exported 1 billion USD of fish products and poultry products each in 2019 whereas red meat exports were around 200 million USD and dairy product exports were around 300 million USD.
