Buffalo meat has no much perspectives in Russia

Back in 2014 when Russia was punished with world sanctions, the country was left with a lack of total meat production and India was the country who imported buffalo meat as a replacement of beef. After 6 years Russia has significantly raised the meat industry by investments, meat embargo and government support measures. So that today the Russian meat industry completely covers the needs of the whole country with the most traditional meats like chicken, pork and beef. Therefore, buffalo meat which is not very popular among the Russian population is not high demanded anymore.
