Following the decision by the local government in East Java to suspend the operation of the major port in the province due to the COVID pandemic, it is expected that there would be delays in the distribution of essential imported commodities such as onion and broccoli. It is also expected that the 3-day lockdown that will last until the end of this week would also slightly affect the price of the said commodities in the traditional and modern markets.
