Wholesale Price of vegetables in India decreased significantly

Wholesale prices of vegetables such as tomato, onion, green chili, okra, bottle gourd crashed during the lockdown period in India. The only vegetables to avoid significant price decreases have been potato and lemon.
Prices of vegetables in the wholesale markets came down by almost 40%, due to border closure and decreased demand due to lockdowns and social distancing.
