The export of nutmeg mace to the Netherlands

Recently, North Sulawesi province exported 10 MT of nutmeg mace to the Netherlands under the supervision of the local government. This export was facilitated by the local agricultural agency and they also provided the phytosanitary certificate for the commodity. This export would develop the local economy, as the farmers in the area considering that they can sell their mace at IDR 280.000/Kg in comparison to the highest average price in the national market at IDR 200.000/Kg.
