Bean shortage in the US presents opportunities for Vietnamese exporters

There was an increase in US bean consumption due to the outbreak of coronavirus. Quarantine orders from the government cased consumers to buy storable foods in bulk, including canned beans. This led to an unexpected shortage of beans in the country. Generally, the US is an exporter of such products, but the shortage has created opportunities for Vietnamese legume exporters.
