Lithuania raises €30,5 million support to the cattle farming sector, after securing the financing from the EU commission. The financial aid aims at supporting farmers impacted by the coronavirus outbreak and its negative consequences. 28,000 cow milk farmers and 28,000 cow farmers (for meat) are expected to participate in the program with €12 million being allocated to meat production and €18,5 million to be allocated to cow milk production.
