Several communities along the Atlantic shoreline in the areas referred to as the Gulf of Guinea have reported sighting death fished floating. The cause of the recent mysterious death of aquatic lives in the Niger Delta is yet to be known and law enforcement agencies have been mandated to enforce the ban on the specie, especially harvesting. So far, croaker fish is the only affected specie.
