Government encouraging entrepreneurs to focus supplying the local demand

In order to achieve self-sufficiency in the country's food supply, Malaysia encourages more entrepreneurs to venture into the supply of locally sourced vegetables such as spinach, cucumbers, and meat. Although many suppliers in the field of vegetables and meat, they often export instead of supplying to the local market due to higher export prices. This leads to an increase in food imports to cater to domestic needs.
