This peanut variety is favored by consumers as it is proven to contain a lower level of cholesterol, hence it is safer to be consumed in larger quantity. However, due to the fact that Indonesia is currently implementing an import ban from China in the wake of the coronavirus scare, it is estimated that the price for this commodity would go up in the following weeks as a result of the decreasing supply.
