The two last weeks were an occasion to help the local breeders in different regions of Morocco with the distribution of 50,000 quintals of subsidized barley to breeders by region for those who have suffered the full ravages of the rainfall deficit.
Indeed, this falls within the framework of the specific program to support the feeding of livestock for the 2019-2020 agricultural campaign, launched by the Ministry of Agriculture, Maritime Fisheries, Rural Development, Water. and forests;
The Ministry had announced the establishment of a targeted safeguarding program, which consists of the distribution of 2.5 million quintals of subsidized barley for the next quarter of this year, for the benefit of breeders in areas affected by the rainfall deficit to maintain a safe stock for the upcoming celebration periods.
