Pea instead of soy as cattle feed

Peas can be a good substitute to soybeans as a feed for cattle because of its high protein content. Peas also contains lysine, which is good for the digestion system of the animals. Over 12 million cattle needs to be fed just in Germany, and most of the soy used to feed them is imported from Brazil and Argentina with high transport costs, and for more production field more and more rain forest and savanna needs to be scarified.
