Greek olive oil exporters seem to be concerned with logistics restrictions and controlled border crossings within the EU despite the optimism supported by good production yield and by positive demands coming from EU destinations such as Germany, Switzerland, and Italy. As the domestic demand for olive oil increased during the lockdown there are no shortages seen in the country however, exporters are cautious about packaging materials and other consumables needed for final production and the reason is the concern for imports that could be disrupted.
