To ensure Indonesia has a sufficient supply of olive oil from major producing countries such as Palestine and Turkey, very recently the government of Indonesia has passed the bill to implement a zero-entry fee for olive oil from both countries. The demand for olive oil is expected to reach 350 MT in the span of April to May 2020 due to Ramadan. The demand for olive oil in Indonesia will reach during every Ramadhan month, as this oil is traditionally used for cooking or direct consumption to preserve stamina during the fasting.
