The Coronavirus outbreak cut profit for Ukrainian exports of agricultural products

Due to surging logistics prices and freight costs impacted by the novel coronavirus, Ukrainian exporters are losing profits especially in the shipments to Asian countries not limited only to China. Surging logistics costs affected all sea freight routes from Ukraine to Asian countries.
The most affected product categories from the high freight costs are chicken meat, chicken eggs, and fresh apples.
