Marketing Authority supporting Terengganu State watermelon suppliers

Concerned farmers in Terengganu State, who are worried about the marketing of watermelons according to the MCO (Movement Control) order, have turned to the Federal Agricultural Marketing Authority (FAMA) for help. The FAMA has purchased 408,290 tonnes of watermelons to help farmers affected by the MCO. The FAMA puts the price of watermelon at 80 cents/kg. In January and February, the price for melon on the farm was RM 1.20/kg.
