Benefits of the EVFTA for Vietnam

With strong market-opening commitments, EVFTA is expected to increase Vietnam's exports to the EU by 42.7% in 2025 and 44.37% in 2030. Currently, the EU is the second-largest import market in the world and currently the second-largest export market of Vietnam, after the US. Therefore, through EVFTA, Vietnam can access a potential market with a population of over 500 million people, GDP of about US $ 15,000 billion, accounting for 22% of global GDP.
