Polish berry-export suffers from the lack of seasonal workers an disruption in the supply chain of spare parts for the harvesting machinery

Poland's position on the European berry export market has been significantly affected by the Covid19 pandemic. The lack of seasonal workers causes a lot of problems this year as workers find it difficult to enter the country. The spare part-supply for the machines working in the harvest was also not flawless due to the trading restrictions. In addition to these factors the drought has also a negative effect on the yield expectations.
