Average winter temperature breaks record high since 1979 in Eastern Europe

According to the reports of the Crop Monitoring Agentur (MARS) the average temperatures measured in the majority of France, North Europe and most parts of Eastern Europe were the highest since 1979. This will decrease the frost-tolerance of the winter wheat and will put the plants in a greater risk from pests since they survived the winter in greater numbers.
