Turkey's spice exports have increased by 5% in 2020

Turkey's spice exports have gone up by 5% in the first 5 months of 2020 and reached 80 million USD. The country had exported 175 million USD worth of spices in 2019.

Red peppercorn flakes, clove, oregano, sage, cumin, bay leaves, and cinnamon were among the top export products. Germany was the top export destination for the Turkish spices in 2020 with an export value of 11.5 million USD, followed by the United States and China with 9 and 6.5 million USD respectively.
