Delay of Clove imports from India causes fears for Malaysia buyers

Although Malaysian suppliers can still import cloves from India, the import process takes a long time to prevent the spread of Covid19. As a result, exporters from India are unable to supply cloves and other spices in a predictable time frame forcing Malaysian importers and suppliers to be prepared for the possibility that cloves become scarce in the domestic market.
