El Salvador imports products to ensure food supply

In order to guarantee the country´s food security, the Government of El Salvador is currently importing basic staples to serve as stock reserves, complementing the local production. On April 14th, a ship arrived to the country with 33,000 MT of maize coming from Mexico. Beans and rice are among other products that will be arriving in the next days.
