Shortage of supply in Ethiopian common bean leading to sharp increase of price

Prices of Common Beans in Ethiopia have increased sharply especially for Kidney Beans. This is because there have been cases of traders smuggling the beans to nearby countries such as Sudan and Somalia, creating a shortage in the local supply of the beans in the country.
