Cassava from Vietnam falls due to lower demand in China

The demand for alcohol in China decreased due to the weather in the hot season, causing prices ethanol from maize and cassava tended to level off or down slightly. Cassava starch export price in Vietnam is relatively lower due to the slowing demand for Chinese cassava starch. By the end of May, the export of cassava and cassava products was estimated at 1.02 million tons, valued at the US $ 359 million.
