Bullish coffee? Suppliers bet on strong dollar

The record-breaking dollar surge in recent days has encouraged coffee producers to market the beans at attractive prices. According to that, coffee farmers are getting prices above R$ 550 per bag (115 usd).

Soluble coffee exports from Brazil accounted for 606,061 thousand (60-kilogram bags) in the first two months of 2020, an increase of 9.17% compared to the interval between January and February 2018.

US, Russia and Japan lead the Import trend. The three countries summed up a purchasing volume of 234,752 bags so far.
