Production of Myanmar shrimp and prawn are expected to decrease this season due to Coronavirus

The production season of Myanmar shrimp and prawn is coming 4th week of April which is the 1st week of Myanmar's New Year. Due to the COVID-19 confirmed cases in Myanmar on the 4th week of March 2020, the government urges companies to let the employee go back to their hometown earlier and some employees will not come to work until the 1st week of May. Shrimp and prawn suppliers struggle to find manpower and third-party logistics companies for their operation. It is expected that the production will be much lower for this season.
