American and German agriculture industry suffering from the effects of COVID-19

According to the analysts of Commerzbank the unemployment rate in the US could increase to 11,5% from the present 3,5% in the near future as a result to the economical crisis caused by COVID-19 . The German agriculture will also suffer from the consequences of the restrictions as it is very dependent on the work of the 300.000 seasonal workers from Eastern European countries for the upcoming harvesting season.
