There it seems to be a good opportunity to allocate Argentine black beans into Mexico this year

This year Argentina will produce between 350K and 400K tons of beans of all varieties, but more than half, about 200,000, will be black beans. As the domestic market consumes very little black beans or beans in general, the country must export that volume (Brazil consumes about 85% of the black bean production). Recently, the Mexican yearly quota has been opened and it seems that due to increased domestic consumption, the United States will not be able to fully cover it (or so does the Argentine government think). It is for this reason that now the Mexican option appeared with great force.
