Bulgarian farmers receive over €1.4 million in financial aid

Bulgarian Ministry of Agriculture will start the financial payments to Bulgarian farmers for the subsidy program which took place last year. According to the subsidy program, the approximate value of the total financial aid that will be given is almost €1.4 million. The payments will be done based on the product category and type of farming. The greenhouse vegetable farmers will be receiving the biggest aid with almost €7,000 per hectare. The main product types in the scope of the subsidy program are apples, plums, table grapes, tomatoes, cucumbers, eggplants, peppers, potatoes, onion, garlic, carrots, cabbage, melons, and watermelons.
