The Moroccan poultry sector not affected by COVID-19

In the context of the exceptional circumstances following the spread of the pandemic of the new coronavirus (COVID-19), the poultry farmers reassuring citizens that the sector has “more than enough capacity” for a normal and regular supply domestically in poultry meats and eggs for consumption.
The factories have, in fact, an estimated production capacity of more than 6.5 million tonnes per year for effective production, and a peak for 4 million tonnes of animal feed, in addition, the stocks of raw materials currently available are amply to serenely supply poultry farms with compound feed according to the FISA
Likewise, hatcheries are also able to supply day-old chicks of the flesh, laying and turkey type chicks.
FISA also reassures consumers about the country's normal and regular supply of poultry meat and eggs for consumption for the coming months, especially during the holy month of Ramadan.
