Increasing demand for cashew nut in West Africa

After weeks of panic selling and price deprecation of cashew nut, traders cross west Africa experienced a slight surge in price this week and it is expected to increase in the coming weeks and through May.
The price surge is as a result of increased demand from Vietnam which recently witnessed the end of the in-shell cashew nut season.
