Prices for chili and okra to increase drastically in the Northern Peninsula

It is reported that the price of vegetables in the Northern Peninsula states is rising, especially red chilies and okra. It is expected that the price of 1 kg of red chilies will increase by 50%, while the price of okra will increase by 25%. The price increase is allegedly due to wholesalers and suppliers who have been unable to deliver goods due to the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO), which restricts their freedom of movement throughout the state.
