Chili cultivation has started, export certification needed

Cultivation of chili pepper has begun in Ghana as the rains are gradually returning. Harvest is expected to resume in July and the main export destination is U.K., France, the Netherlands and Germany.
To prevent a ban from the European Union as result of high levels of aflatoxins in Chili pepper from Ghana, only certified producers are licensed to export Chili pepper from Ghana.
