Iran produced almost 860 KMT red meat during the last fiscal year. Cattle animals in the country made up around 60% of the total red meat production which is a positive move forward towards decreasing the import dependency in the near future. The country expects to up the production output by at least 2% and reach 880 KMT by the end of the current fiscal year.
