Sweet cherry from Konya exported heavily to Germany, Russia and other European countries

Sweet cherry harvest continues in the Hadim district of Konya with nearly 90% of the products being exported to Germany and other European countries in addition to Russia. The sweet cherry production area in the district is around 3,900 hectares and the expected production yield is around 19 kmt for this season.

The farm gate prices vary between 1.5 USD/kg and 2.8 USD/kg depending on the size and quality of the product.
