One of the main production commodities of the province is Tabacco, whose harvest was not so affected, but stockpiles companies have implemented a strict protocol for receiving the producer's harvest thus slowing the whole process. There are many citrus producers that require up to 1.000 workers who are having problems completing the harvest.
In August, it is uncertain what will happen with the blueberry season, since there are large enterprises in the province where up to 2,500 people work during the harvest.
In the province, there are enormous extensions of lands where grains are grown, such as corn and soybeans, and also legumes (various types of beans), on more than 1M hectares. Since those are mainly mechanized activities, they were not so deeply affected by the labor force scarcity.
