Closure of land borders likely to affect Iranian export trade

Coronavirus outbreak is likely to have major impacts on the ailing Iranian economy.
Land border closures by Turkey, Iraq, and Afghanistan are expected to make the biggest impact on the Iranian export trade. Especially, Iraq is the 2nd biggest export destination after China for Iran and only the interrupted Iraqi exports are expected to create a trade deficit for the country.
