Moroccan companies have significantly increased their imports of European food and non-alcoholic beverages in the first three months of this year, compared to the same period last year. With regard to food and drink products from Andalusia, Spain, imports rose to more than 132% in the first quarter of 2020. This places Morocco in the 20th position among buyers of agri-food products from Andalusia, according to data from the Extenda-Andalusian Agency for Foreign Promotion.
