According to official data by the embassy of Greece in Rome, Italy, yogurt exports from Greece to Italy have decreased by 2,7% in 2019 generating €64.1 million in revenue compared to €72.7 million in revenue in 2017. The reason for yogurt export decline is explained by the high price of Greek yogurt in the Italian market. On the other hand, feta cheese exports in 2019 have recorded an increase of 4% generating €39.3 million revenue compared to €37.7 million generated in 2018.
