Salmon export from Black Sea region increases in 2020

Salmon production in the Black Sea region and the exports from this region have increased in 2020. Salmon production increased from 1,471 kmt to 2,168 kmt in the first 5 months of 2020.

The export revenue similarly increased in the same period from 8.5 million USD to 11.3 million USD.

Russia was the top export destination with an export volume of 1,892 kmt and 9.9 million USD export revenue, followed by Vietnam and Poland with export revenues of 513,000 and 502,000 USD respectively.
