Turkish fish product exporters are recently having a lot of problems in delivering their orders to their customers in Greece due to the increased border controls and quarantine at the customs.

Main fish product exports from Turkey to Greece are frozen octopus, cuttlefish and shrimp. The problems at the customs have intensified in the last 2 weeks and the exporters are seeking alternative destinations for their products.

Turkey had exported 71 million USD worth of fish products to Greece in 2019, making it the 5th most popular export destination for this product group.
