Mustard seed is one of the major oilseed crops in Myanmar. The season of harvesting is mid-February to April and the major plantation is found in Mandalay, Sagaing, and Magwe where the weather is always dry and less humid. Target export countries are Japan, China, and Taiwan, with more than 91 percent of total overseas sales heading for these markets.
