Romania is one of the top exporters of wheat in the EU, putting the country to second place behind France who has a bit over 9% of the market share of the global wheat market. Bulgaria is on the third place with 885,000 tons of export volume. Romania's leading export port in Constanta is very well situated for organizing transport over the sea which also helps to boost the volumes.
