Greek chestnut growers are expecting a good production yield of chestnuts this year with the harvest onsetting from the end of September. The growers are expecting that Itlay will have a substantial demand for the Greek chestnut. The export price will approximately be €2.9 per kg against €2.7 per kg of Portuguese and €3.2 per kg of Turkish chestnuts.
