Iranian pistachio exports have been hit by the Covid-19 outbreak consequences.
The export demands have decreased due to border closures after the Covid-outbreak in Iran. Pistachio producers and exporters were left with big quantities of stocks that they couldn't sell. The supply surplus have caused a decrease in pistachio prices in Iran.
Opening up the borders with Turkey, however, has given a hopeful outlook to pistachio exporters in terms of the current trade situation to improve.
