African Swine Fever: 131 new outbreaks were reported worldwide in thirteen days in October

The World Organization for Animal Health (OIE) reported that 131 new outbreaks of African swine fever were reported in the world between 16th October and 29 October. The total number of outbreaks e from 7,522 to 7,642, with 4,010 in Romania alone and 1,475 in Vietnam. Of the new outbreaks, 123 were reported in Europe, 6 in Asia and 2 in Africa. New or ongoing outbreaks have been recorded in 22 countries across the world.
