In week 27, the USDA released their Almond Crop Objective Forecast. The Objective Forecast projected a crop slightly smaller than the Subjective Forecast earlier this year. In addition, on July 12, the Almond Board released the latest Almond Position Report. In response to both of those reports hitting the market, prices seem to have risen slightly (but not nearly as much as the suppliers were hoping). On average, in-shell nonpareil prices have risen USD 0.10-0.13/lb., and kernel prices are up USD 0.03-0.05/lb. in W2 of July 22.
